Looking back at my planning

When looking back on my planning i can see that not everything went the same on the day as i decided to add in my voiceover i felt that taking out allot of the script would add in more tension, and the voiceover felt allot more dramatic i also cut out allot of the footage even though i filmed it i felt it was too long and dragged the story line out allot more and took away the focus of the film.

Storyboard For Final Title Sequence

This is a photo of me working on my blog
I have choosen my first initial idea, as i feel it is more realistic to the audience watching, as it is something that happens daily and is so terrible and shocking.
These are a rough outline of the shots that will be in my final title sequence, and in roughly the right order.

Pitch For Main Title Sequence

Idea 1- Thriller

My first idea is a thriller, where there is a young girl left home when her mother and father go out for the night, she is 'normally' sensible. It is late at night and dark, she gets talking to a young boy over the internet (facebook) that she knows through a friend, on the other hand the audience are lead to believe something different as they can see an older mans figure (the boys father).  The young girl plans to meet the 'boy' at a near by park for a while as he says he really likes her. The girl has no idea what is in store!!!

To enhance the suspense and horror into my opening sequence i would use allot of close ups, also i would have points throughout the sequence where i will play eery music to enhance the drama.

Idea 2-

My second idea would be a horror of two young girls moving in to a new house with them being very excited and have told a man they had meet out the night before, without realising from being drunk they also tell him there address and offer him to come over in a few weeks and bring a few friends. What they do not know is this man is part of a gang in which abuse young women and steal the things they own.
The men come round unexpectedly, acting very nice inviting the girls out with them however the girls invite them in.....

Enhancing suspense i will use allot of close ups and contrast between the group of men and the young girls who are unaware of what lies ahead.

I got inspiration for this opening sequence from the film 'Taken'.

Analysis Of Prelim Task

Both filming and acting in this task helped me understand how difficult it was to get things right within each role. The hardest thing i found was acting as i have never been filmed before and at times i would come out of my role, however i have experienced filming before so i understood how to work the camera, and take steady shots.
From similar tasks when coming to use premier pro to edit our sequence i already knew how to work the program with confidence, i.e. when rearranging clips, cutting clips and editing them. Therefore did not take much time.
When filming our clip me and Lia paired up with another two people to help film and act, i feel this helped us with ideas to get out prelim task to be as best as it could be.
The filming was fairly easy, we needed to make sure that we included everything that was asked, i.e. match on action, shot reverse shot, and making sure that we did not break the 180 degree rule.
When editing out sequence we found there were some bits that were unneeded and made the sequence look choppy and unorganised, by taking them out it made our sequence run smoother.
